Dining options include Jiko-The Cooking Place (a specialty dinner restaurant serving New African cuisine), Boma-Flavors of Africa (in an African marketplace setting), The Mara (poolside), and Victoria Falls lounge. There is a 5,500-square-foot Zawadi Marketplace, which also features demonstrations by native artisans. The 11,000-square-foot, heated, outdoor swimming pool has views of the extensive Savannah, a slide, and two whirlpool spas. Other facilities include Zahanati Massage and Fitness Center, Simba's Clubhouse (for kids), and adult activities (including wine-tasting and self-guided tours).
All rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge have cable TV, safes, ceiling fans, private bathrooms, private balconies, dataports, voicemail, hairdryers, and irons and ironing boards. Coffeemakers and refrigerators are available upon request.
